Album3D is a 3D app (VR coming soon) that can import your photos into 3D scenes. In short words, it is a cool way to present your photos.

Within such an app the same photos can be presented in different ways e.g. on the surface of a kind of cylinder or a cube and all such layouts can live in the same 3D space. In a split second you can move from one photo or layout to another e.g. by touching a particular photo and it is just cool to move around in such a world, consisted of your photos and some nice graphics or special effects driven by music.

Soon the app will be available in different marketplaces. Links will be provided on our website.

In order to get your Album3D, you will need to prepare a set of photos as described below or if you don’t care e.g. about the initial order of the images, just import them and job done.

Photo requirements for Album3D

Photos will be sorted by their name, so if you need a particular order you can rename them in the following way:
- P0001_OldName1
- P0002_OldName2
- …
- PNNNN_OldNameX
  where OlName1, OlName2, …, OlNameX are the old photo names for which you want to change the sort order. For example, if you have 4 files: A.png, B.png, Y.png, Z.png and you want to have a reverse order, then you can rename them to:
- P0001_Z.png
- P0002_Y.png
- P0003_B.png
- P0004_A.png
After the import, in some versions of the app (e.g. PRO) you will be able to change the order of the photos.
In the app you will be able to choose different thumbnail resolutions for your app, so if your Album3D will be run on low-performant devices we suggest choosing resolution 2048×1024. However, your source photos can be much bigger. We suggest that the longer side of a photo is not larger than 16384 pixels. If it’s bigger, it might be scaled down (we plan to improve it in future versions of Album3D).
You must preserve the aspect ratio of your photos when you decrease the resolution of your photos before importing to Album3D.
Once photos are imported, you will have an option to auto-load source images in the highest quality. However, if you choose to import photos in the highest resolution, you may choose not to use this options without significant (usually not visible) loss in quality.
You will be able to choose frame and crop settings for your images.
