The Album3D demo is now available on Steam, showing how Universe3D can turn a photo collection into a space you move through.
Album3D is built around a simple idea: a photo album does not have to feel like a flat grid. With Universe3D technology, albums can become interactive 3D arrangements with camera movement, spatial layouts, and presentation modes.
A demo for exploring the idea
The demo includes a pre-made read-only project with sample albums. You can navigate between albums, move through images in 3D, and get a feel for how Album3D presents photos differently from a conventional gallery.
To test adding personal images, create a new demo project and use the Test Import option. It is available only in new demo projects and adds watermarks to imported images. Projects created in Album3D Demo are not compatible with full Album3D project files.
Universe3D in practice
Album3D is one of the first public examples of Universe3D as a product platform. The same core approach also powers PlanetMars3D: Spirit Mission, where curated rover imagery becomes an explorable Mars photo experience.
Try the demo on the Album3D Demo page on Steam, wishlist or follow the Album3D store page on Steam, or visit the Album3D website.
