London, United Kingdom — 29 May 2026 — Universe3D expands to Mars with the playable demo of PlanetMars3D: Spirit Mission, now available on Steam.
Built on Universe3D technology, the demo turns real NASA Spirit rover Pancam photographs into explorable 3D albums. Players can glide through curated Mars imagery, jump between rover views, and experience the Spirit mission through manual exploration, slideshow mode, or automated flythroughs.
PlanetMars3D: Spirit Mission is a dedicated viewer for selected public Spirit rover Pancam imagery. It is independent and unaffiliated with NASA, JPL-Caltech, Cornell, ASU, or Valve.
